Blitzen is a Festivus Ale with a deep, dark amber hue and a warming rye aroma. Full-bodied and rich with a complex malt flavor, savory spiciness and a touch of rye in the finish.

The celebrated Northern Michigan Wood Elf, Blitzen, only appears during the winter holidays to warm the palate and the soul – and to awaken memories of holidays past. Born out of Northern lore, Blitzen goes door to door, surrounded by fluttering snowflakes, and offers his services as mediator during the “Feats of Strength” for a small sum of sugar. The Northern Wood Elf only appears on the 23rd of December – he wanders out of the towering pines by following the North Star to get his little elven hands on delicious mountains of sugar.
